Then transverse the lake west to Racine, WI, passing the buoy 45007. Near buoy 45007 there is a co-located vertical temperature mooring maintained by NOAA Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory. The glider then traveled south to Waukegan, WI, east to Benton Harbor, MI, north to the Kalamazoo River before returning to Muskegon, MI. From Muskegon the glider traveled to a station at 110 m water depth. This transect was repeated several times before crossing the lake west to Milwaukee, WI, and then returned to Muskegon, MI. Note, the glider was deployed in areas of Lake Michigan with at least 30 m of depth. The glider collected vertical profiles of conductivity, temperature, depth, chlorophyll, colored dissolved organic matter (CDOM), backscatter, and photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) between depths of 0 and 130 m.
